What happens when you send a request

When you fill out the quote form, we email what you entered (your name, phone number, email address, project address, the service you need, a description of the project, and your timeline) directly to the one independent, licensed local pro we partner with for that service in your area. That pro contacts you about your project.

What we keep

We keep only two things from your request: your name and the service you asked for, along with the date, which pro it went to, and whether they took the job. We use that to track how our pros are doing.

We don't store your phone number, email address, project address, or project description. Those go to the pro and nowhere else.

Who we share it with

Your request goes to one pro. That's it. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with other contractors, lead buyers, or advertisers. If we don't have a pro for a service yet, we don't take requests for it.

To deliver your request, it passes through our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our email delivery service (Resend). They handle it only to provide those services, and the email service may keep delivery records for a limited time under its own policies.

The pro you're connected with

The pro is an independent business, not part of I Got A Dude. Once they have your request, how they use and store your information is covered by their own practices.

Contractors

If you fill out the form on our For Pros page, we use what you send only to talk with you about partnering with us.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site secure and running.

Your choices

You're never required to hire the pro who contacts you. If you'd like us to delete your name from our records, let us know.
